From Adam Kennon- the fly's designer: "I designed this fly to hover over wood, logs, rocks and anything else that fish hide in to ambush prey. It works by hanging in the fish's face long enough to illicit a strike. The strip and pause is what this fly does best. The foam head moves water and helps the fly stay up in the water column. The all marabou body gives a big presence without making it too bulky to cast over and over on a 5+ weight. I like fishing the shad pattern on bass that are crashing bait. The trout patterns make great streamers for fishing rocks or woody cover where you need the fly hover in the strike zone."
